need help asap: clearing out lights, do i need to take out the ballast?

hey everyone, blue blurr and i are trying to clear out my lights right now.

do i need to take out the ballasts f or the STi hid's in order to bake them or will they be fine? do i need to take out the hid bulbs etc. how else is it different from doing it to a regular wrx?

couldn't find the thread that was posted a few months ago.

I would remove everything that is not part of the light itself. Remove the bulb and ballast just to be safe - not like its very hard

You don't have to remove the ballast. I did 'Zuka's light a while back. There was no need. Your not going to melt the hell out of 'em just heat 'em up.
