Need advice for a close friend...
Heres the situation, Friend rear ended a car he "says" 5 mph, he was on the right turn lane, the guy went straight on the right turn lane, and my friend went right but pulled into the in and out burger joint to wait for the van. When my friend got out of the car he went to see if the guy parked across the street, but the car was not there. So he thought the van he hit went inside in and out but the guy never approached him. There was no damage to his car, but he does not know if he should call his insurance or go to the police dept and report what happen? He's annoying the f*ck out of me, what should I advise him?
Thanks

no harm no foul. did your friend even wait long for the driver of the van to approach him? if the van ran off and there's absolutely no damage to him/his car it seems negligible.

well I was with my friend we were able to get food, Or actually I was able to get food inside haha. So 15 min, no police, nothing... He's just worried that what if the guy got his plates and places the blame on him...
lol, well common conduct would be to exchange insurance and info. If the van sped away then I don't see why your friend would be in trouble.
damn, i had the hardest time reading the run-on run-on run-on sentences because they were separate sentences, only separated by a comma, but multiple times so that there were, you guessed it, multiple commas.
But yeah, if they don't come looking for your friend, don't sweat it. Who knows? maybe the other driver was driving illegally without insurance and would be totally jacked if you guys had tried to get his info.

The guy in the van either didn't notice it or didn't have insurance (that's my take on it). Your friend will probably be safe. Hopefully he learned a valuable lesson not to drive so closely behind someone.

He's suggesting that the "friend" stop acting like a frail woman.

However, I know plenty of females that are self-reliant and could handle this rather simple issue.
