that's still pretty impressive though. You'd need an STI with an FP Green w/ all supporting mods to put out 380whp on a dynojet, on 93

Years ago I sold my 318ti Sport and got a new 2000 Mcoupe. I went from having 140hp at my disposal to 250hp and 0-60 time of ~7.8s to ~4.9s. My insurance dropped by more than half for the same coverage! The ti was lumped in with all the normal 3-series driven by average idiots. The Mcoupe was lumped in with the Z3, whose average age was....deceased! They were normally a weekend car, rarely driven and appenently wrecked less often then 3er's. Insurance is strange sometimes.

Now that I think about it, insurance on my 2003 Evo 8 was decent probably because it was lumped in with the Lancer at first. Then all the idiots started cracking them up and the rates shot up. Oh well.

Man, it's so cool that I could totally afford a 2002 Porsche Turbo... If I had the income to have a second car payment I would be all over a porsche 911 turbo like white on rice.

I still see 996 turbos and drool all over them, and knowing that I could afford one and drive it around daily makes me very excited! Sure, they are a pain in the *** to fix, and Im sure that the insurance would suck, but I have no points, clean record and am almost 30.

Very true, both the rs4 and rs6 are only going to turn the heads of car geeks.

But I do think the C6 z06 should qualify as "hella awesome" though even though Vettes in general are a dime a dozen, because there are just so many awesome things about it.

Kinda like how Jamie Foxx isn't some artist who spent his life dedicated to the arts, but the fact that he has both an Oscar and a Grammy makes him "hella awesome"

The z06 is kinda like Jamie Foxx

Sadly, we never got the M5 touring or the E55 AMG wagon either. I blame it on the SUV craze.
