I've got a question I can't figure out anywhere...
Dealing with an infinitely repeating decimal... ie 1/3
To indicate the infinite repeat; one draws a line over the number
What do you call that line?
My wife's 6th grade students call it the "infinity bar" which I'm pretty sure is wrong, but is a damn good name

This thread reminds me of how people used to text me while they were taking a math exam in college, sending me a photo of the problem and asking me to solve it for them. Always happens when you get an A+ on all your math exams. I believe people need to study for their exams, or they are defeating the purpose of being in school in the first place.
