Hey everyone, i just moved from fremont to east san jose near alum rock, and i dont know anyone over here. im looking to meet up and make new friends with subies. i have on 02 wagon. the only mod i have is a cobb V3 AP tuned to stage 1. other then that its stock ive only had the car about 3 months. so pretty much just looking to make friends, work on cars ect. i have a pretty decent back yard we throw bbqs and drink and what not.

 

check out the meets thread and swing buy the wed night meets. it's been a great turn out with chill folks the past few times I've went.

 

Lolz, sounds like my story circa a year ago. Grew up in Fremont, now I live on the Santa Clara Street side of 101 (the New New Mexico DMZ as I call it), right by Alum Rock.

Alex with the white GC works at the Alum Rock O'Reiley's across from La Costa. There's other cats round here too, just not sure who/where offhand as I don't always connect a screen name to a face, and then after that a proper name. I'm bad enough with the later two.

Like ravenlunatic said, the meets are good for meeting peeps, the Wednesday night Fremont one being one of the more popular, and one I go to when I can as well.

 

I'm right outside of Milpitas and I grew up in the Alum Rock (park) area.

Check out the weds night meet. Great turn out every week especially with the weather like this.

 

You should start throwing weekend bbqs. If you have the parking im sure we would show up. Always good to meet new people with food and beers!

Someone posted a while back about a bbq and install party but couldnt offer a place just the idea....so it quickly died. Lets get this going in your backyard lol.

 

yah thats what i was thinking about i just moved here so i still need to go pick up a bbq and a couple othere things this weekend, but im definitely gonna be trying to get this thing up and going. Potluck BYOB would be the best option, ofcourse ill have some things, its hard to schedule that though. ppl either dont show, or show up with nothing lol. ill post some pics of my parking and back yard and you guys can give me feedback. i think it would be awesome to have my gf come home from work on a sat and just have the house filled with subies haha
