FYI Stay away from any of the nigerian/african ran bars trust me. There's alot of them and also around Shinjuku station.
Akihabara is awesome too. For partying you can go to Roppongi, which is more of the international area where the foreigners go. I always partied in Shibuya instead.

For the MariCar, make sure you have a mask or bandanna on. I was going to do it but majority of my group didnt make the timeline and the typhoon hit.
Big hint from me is that carry a plastic bag with you (for trash). Also a bigger bag if you have a backpack and its raining. Cover it up, itll save you all your items *coming from me who walked in the typhoon...and driving in a R33 GTR in it...*
Shibuya is awesome and have lots of great eats. I forgot where we ate at but wagyu meat for cheap over there.
Super Autobacs right off the Wangan. They seem to cater more towards Subaru as they have a section for Subaru parts.
And travel to other parts of Tokyo; I used the hell out of my rail pass and Suica card. The vending machines are effing AWESOME and I miss it a lot.
Cheap eats: Family Mart/Lawson/7 and iHoldings places. They can microwave the food for you there
The anime stores with multiple stories in Akihabara....well, majority of it, when you go into the 2nd level and higher....gets....interesting ahaha
Typing all of this out makes me miss Japan even more. My friends and I have discussed a round 2 trip already ahaha
If you plan on going into any bullet trains, book it ahead of time at a JR main office. We went to Osaka (which was described to me as grimy by 2 people who I had a smoke break with, at 2 different times and location). Its dirty compared to anywhere else in Japan but the night time scene there is happening.
