Let's build a computer!
Yea...and no. Right now its a tossup as you can overclock the q9450, and run a true 64bit OS and get some impressive power out of them, where the i5/i7 tend to run hotter for the same speeds, from what I have been reading.

Its not really that I hate macs, its the users. Macs were made for people who can only think one way, and can only deal with one mouse button at a time. They were never built for power users like myself.

I guarantee they don't but that's ok (pats the new D-3 series cable modem)

Way to bunch all of us into a stereotype. :P I'm a graphic designer by profession, so OSX is just more efficient for me as far as window arrangements and floating windows are concerned for my own work flow. Not all of us are hippies who blog about the interwebs and indie bands like the general stereotype perceives us. Anyway, building a rig is really fun though. My preference of mobo/processor combos have always been Asus or Gigabytes with Intel processors. What's everyone's preference? Also, are all hard drive brands fair game? I usually stuck with Seagate and Western Digital, once in a while, Maxtor. Optical drives, I just stuck with Pioneer optical drives, but I hear Samsung and Lite-On are comin' up though. As for cases and cooling equipment, I normally stuck with Cooler Master stuff in the past. I'm a little biased towards nVidia-based video cards too. It just seemed as if ATI's lagging behind in the market a little bit. Haha.

Dude, do you ever have that mysterious double left click issue? Sometimes when I click stuff, it'll double click with a single click. I read it's a common issue with Logitech Revs. I freakin' love this mouse, otherwise. I never ever want to touch an Apple mouse ever again. That roller ball scroll thing freakin' sucks. Haha.
I tried that mouse out, It just didn't feel right in my hand so I went back to my G5 and G7 gaming mice.
The one I wish I had was my orgininal mX1000 laser mouse. Man that thing rocked, but I used it so much, I wore the left mouse button out. When you try to use it now it double and triple clicks things
