I want to go SO bad But with gas and registration, it'll be around $500 already And I'll need new tires before/during/after the run cuz my treads are about 1mm above the wear indicator right now and I don't have much brake pads left. So I'll have to spend a good 12-13 hundred just for it

If I knew they were putting a LSIR in October, I wouldn't have gone to their last Thunderhill event Then I would have tire, brake, and money

just signed up for the unlimited laps event at laguna seca... it says there is a 90db sound limit. what's the best way to get this checked? any rule of thumb on what 90db is equivalent to... a loud concert, the blue angels flying by, etc?

i have sound meter if u want to use
pretty much the sound booth is on turn 5, on the right hand side
so we are lucky that our exhaust points left
there are a few ways around it if you do not pass sound test:
1. don't track all the way out on turn 5.. stay on the left
2. put a silencer in
3. get a pipe that bends left hahahaha.. that's the ghetto ghetto way

thanks all, maybe i'll take you up on the offer to borrow the sound meter. i don't think i'm that loud (prodrive stage2) and it sounds like there may be other options to avoiding the sound limit. has anyone here ever violated the 90db limit at LS? cheers.

Anyone going to Infinion next weekend the 25th and 26th? NASA's having HPDE events and just wondering if any Subies are gonna be there.

Well, I hope to see some of you there. I'll be in my Sube and my first time on track with the car. Hope it'll be fun.

My STi is white with a WRX wing. Look for me and I'll be look for some of you too.
