Karma's a ***** you brake-checking mother ****er.
 

So this morning on the way in, I come up to an area that always slows to stop and go because of an exit only lane. If you leave room or not, people will cram in front of you to change lanes. So usually I keep just about 1 car length or less. Close enough to discourage people to change, but far enough to be safe in this really slow area. It's so bad CHP usually sits there.

Well the guy in front of me decides I am too close and tries to brake-check me... at 20mph... while I have a car's length buffer... repeatedly.

He is waving his arms and yelling at me, adjusting his mirror, giving me the "back off" arm flail, slamming on his brakes two car lengths behind the person in front of him. I guess he was either trying to get me to back off, or cause an accident. I had plenty of space to come to a stop each time. At one point he even turned around in his seat to yell at me.

People were cutting him off left and right because there was so much room in front of him from him slamming on his brakes to a stop and he was getting pissed at that so he would floor it every time someone changed lanes in front of him.

Floor.

Slam on the brakes.

Yell at me.

Floor.

Slam on the brakes.

Yell at me.

Floor.

Yell at me... wait... :fear:

I changed lanes to get out from behind him. I could see he had his face in his hands. As I pulled up along side him, he looked up just in time to see me give him the slow clap. Good job, buddy. Good job.

I figured stopping to be a witness and give a statement was too much salt in the wound.

Hahahahaha good story. Some people get so butt hurt that you follow them in traffic. It's not to piss them off, it's so no cars can cut you off.

Its stop and go traffic. Im sure all lanes were equally slow/backed up.

I had something like that happen to me, over on Great America Parkway getting on to 101 South, before the ramp a guy in a SUV cut me off bad that I had to slam on my breaks, I blasted my horn he turns around and sticks his whole arm out the window to give me the bird while he looks hard at me, he rear ended the car in front of him that was waiting at the traffic light to get on the freeway. :) I just smiled!

#1 lane - carpool

#2 lane - the only really traveling lane (the lane I'm in)

#3 lane - cluster **** that everyone is trying to bail out of into #2 or into from #4 (exit only and on ramp in the same lane)

#4 lane - exit only and on ramp lane.
