Just test drove an EVO X 2011, I'm in love. Anyone want an STi?

so the latest review is TRUE
i found it interesting that even the brand spanking new model 2011 STi with supposed "improvements" couldnt beat the previous year EVO, even in 1/4 mile with its "AUTO" transmission..

as for reliablity.. if it was so unreliable there would be so many complaints from owners as the easily make over 400AWHP. and subies already seem to be a huge accomplishment making over 320AWHP.... on E85! any more would seem to be "pushing" it for the engine..
the interior is much nicer in the subaru, but man.. i rather be making a lot more power easier.. and better handling.. forget the interior

I have only 4 real problems with the evo line of cars...
1)They do not hold their resale value like the subaru cars do. They just don't have the quality of build to keep that value long term.
2)I don't care for the interiors on them. The dash seems thin, and most the fabircs come off to me as low end stuff. Again this kind of gets back into reason 1.
3)From things I read, the motors just don't last as long as other manufactures. I don't think I have ever seen a ad for one with 150k+ on it still on the orginal motor. Now this one I am not so sure of...however Mitsu has never been known for building long lasting gas motors. (of note, they build one hell of a diesel motor however, arguably the best small car/truck motor out there)
4)and this is the big one...EVERY evo driver I have ever met, is a eletist *****! I mean seriously worse than the punks in the SRT4's.
Whats the difference betwene a evo and a porcupine? On the evo the ****** are on the inside.

2-The one place where you can't say anything about evo's is the motor, the 4g63 was ten times the motor of ANY EJ series. My old STi was on its 3rd motor by 80k. And the 4b11 looks to follow suite with the 4g63, with 4 bolt mains, piston oil jets, timing chain vs timing belt, reinforced block structure wise, etc. The X has been around for 3 years or so and if you go on the evoxforums you don't see near the "I think I blew my motor" threads like at iwsti and nasioc. My X has 38k and doesn't burn a single drop of oil in between oil changes, that allot more than I can say about my old STi.
3-have to agree on the interior quality, what I can't agree is that the X has real recaro's in it, not some wannabe sport seats. The things are the nicest production seats I have even sat in, in any car.
4-I hate everyone equally so screw you, lol j/k :P

yeah, theres def more to the story. No one heres going to say that suby engines are bulletproof but theres no way youre going to try to tell us that going through 3 engines under 80K is ANYWHERE near the norm, WTF??
