Just some Scoobs at Thunderhill yesterday
Well, I never thought my 2nd track day would have "worse" (debateable) weather than my first. My first was last June and the air temp was 117° and I had the full blown flu. Yesterday was 48 with gusts of wind probably up near 30-35mph, and it rained. A LOT.
Regardless, I had a frickin' blast, and saw some Subarus out there. Rob came out with his STi, and Chris (Goss408) came out for his first track day. Also talked with a guy named Paul in a blue GR with gold wheels, and saw two cars with EQ Tuning stickers on them.
A Miata rolled and destroyed itself. A guy in a GTO seriously needs to go back to driver's school for like... I don't know... 10 years. And a few spin outs. LOTS of Evos out there.
Only shot for a few minutes as the rain was heavy enough to warrant putting my equipment back in the bag and keep it sealed up. Plus, the dude at GotBlueMilk is the only guy allowed on the track for shooting, so my spots here limited.
Here's a very, very short album of the few cars I shot in Open class and some in the paddock area. If you know any of these guys, have them shoot me a message and I'll send them the original full res file because, well, I like Subarus.

I wish, man. I had photo sessions scheduled for this weekend, and as it turns out they're all canceled due to rain.
Have fun out there! Drive safe!
I've known Todd since his VW days. He's actually one of the first guys I met who got me really into VW's, and then into mountain biking. Todd and Brian are really good guys.

Next time, sir.
Thanks man! Foggy and wet. But awesome.
Oh nice! I was watching (and hearing) your car the whole day.
Trust me. I would have been chasing you. For sure.
