SJSU is hiring at the FD&O central plant facility. We are looking for 2 positions to be filled. I am the Assistant Chief Engineer at Central Plant. You will be reporting directly to me. We recently had a round of interviews and the candidates were under qualified. We need quality applicants with experience, drive and assertiveness. Take a look and let's see what you got.
Position 1 focus is on power plant operations. Experience with gas turbines, boilers, chillers, control systems, water treatment. 24hr operation. Night and day shifts. If you’re in this field you know what I am talking about.

Position 2 main focus is monitoring campus HVAC systems, recognize, interpret and understand function of those systems. Troubleshoot problems with those systems and dispatch trades to fix them. We're looking for a motivated self starter that can assist this positions development. It is a brand new position.

I am gettin out of the military and will be looking for a job, too bad I am not experienced in those areas. I am a fast learner though.

The state offers really good benefits. Unfortunately the system is back loaded. The pay isn't the best. But the do provide a decent pention, and medical an dental for life, it is only five years to be vested under the SECT bargaining agreement. So after five years time you get emdical an dental for life and a pention.

It would be cool to have a club meet everyday, but I see two problems,
1. Hard to explain that I am recommending for hire due to qualifications and not the car.
2. It will be confirmed, I can be a real dick some times.
