Here's some of the pictures I took--don't judge too harshly, I'm not much of a photographer.

Turn 5 before they switched it:

The second canopy, close to the skid pad (that's my friend Alex in the foreground):

Just before we left in the afternoon... look at the awesome dirt!

Think the mudflaps helped??

for turn 5, did you guys like the up and over or the bypass more?

we switched it because half the group wanted one and the other half wanted the other...so everyone got a bit of both (kinda like the weather rain and dry )

honestly the bypass made me feel seasick! i liked up and over myself!

I think most of us preferred the up and over.. I've only been to Thunderhilll 3 times but that was the first time with the bypass.. gave me all kinds of odd feelings :x

Why'd they switch out the crows nest (or whatever turn5 is)?

i hate the bypass. Seems that only the NASA guys are the only ones who ever run it. Ive been to T-hill about 20 times, and this is the 2nd time anyone has ever run it.

we changed it up because like i said...half the people wanted to because they never have done the bypass.... so at least now everyone knows
a lot of the race car people there especially like the bypass because its faster and more blind...so i guess its all in your style and car :P

but ill stick to the over the top

I liked the up and over more than the bypass. Even though I found a good line through the bypass, I never got fully comfortable with it.

I still haven't washed mine. I think I'll let nature take its course.
