I'm assuming rain or shine. Renters don't get their money back... we wont.

today I drove in the rain with my Toyo T1R tires and I have to tell you, they are amazing. I don't know how well they will do in icy conditions or snow. so on the track if it is icy, I am not willing to try them. up there where tunderhill is gets very very cold and pretty icy.

right now no rain predicted which is great. at 25 hours it was like 28 degrees and foggy, but yeah this is a rain or shine event makes it even more fun

The track is open 8am-5pm. We will be having 2-3 run
groups depending on the level of experience everyone
has, and what the final head count is.

Bump!

For those of you that are going, we should talk about who is bringing what, so we don't bring duplicates. No point in people bringing three jacks if we only need one.

I'll be bringing my auto-x stuff/tub.

I have:

tire pressure gauge
150 piece socket set
breaker bar
torque wrench
cordless impact wrench (Harbor Freight one, not that strong, but does make the lugs go off faster)
first aid kit
and the stock scissor jack
sunscreen

So... no need to bring duplicate stuff if other people are bringing it.

Ideas of other stuff to bring:

Canopy
rope to tie down canopy
camping chairs
traditional jack/jackstands/ramps
ice cooler and/or drinks

Really want to get back on THill but I still need a roll bar for my MR2 before I can get on track. Other car is nowhere near ready. Damn it. I assume standard rules and convertibles need bars... If there's any way drop me a line and I will pay and be there. I work safety for NASA (was on the back of tow for the 25 last couple years) and have lots of time on this track behind the wheel as well.

I was trying to get things inline to go to this but I seriously don't think the wife will let me out to the track twice next week and I have just had something kinda important come up that I have to attend on Monday.

Hope everyone has a great and safe event!

Mike
