Awesome, the car dealer that people write books about how to avoid.

Useful information: I sold my 2003 silver sedan w/ 32k miles today for $17,800. It was advertised since 12/6 and I had 3 interested parties. Not including people from India who had clients interested in my vehicle......

Anyway, my car was stock w/ tinted windows and Eibachs, and in perfect condition with no problems. 30k service done, reg paid till 01/06. I think that was a fair price, even tho kbb.com said $19,800.

actually he and I were just being realistic...

if you think you are guaranteed "book value" for your car, you are HIGH

Read a few posts up dude. I may be high, but I never said anything about getting book value for my car... Anyway, I was remarking about the comment about telling people their only tool they have to gauge their car's value is worthless. Sad but true.

nah the best tool is "fair market value", which depends on what similar vehicles actually sell for in your area, both at wholesale and retail levels.

I sold my old prelude $2000 under the blue book price, so... don't ask too much out of it...I would say a high $15 to a mid $16 ....

if someone willing to throw a mid $16... do it... cause if you miss the chance...the price will keep droping...

make sure you stand stong, since you only doing this a one time deal....so when you selling your car... make sure you think you own him...ahahah

Yup - that's why I posted the info of my '03 Sedan I sold on Saturday. Probably the most useful post in the thread...
