I saw talking about Santacon... and heard of Krampus

I don't know how many of you do Santa-Con... I am this year.

Has anyone ever heard of [URL="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Companions_of_Saint_Nicholas#Krampus"]Krampus[/URL]? He's apparently a companion for Santa Claus that punishes bad children by whipping them and putting them in a basket .
They have full-on Krampus festivals in some parts of Europe... and it looks pretty awesome/bizarre/disturbing
