Yeah, man I feel you on that. Just reading that post made me want to break something. I hate it when that happens. Get a baseball bat and beat the living hell out of some inanimate object. Makes me feel better every time. Try to pick something cheap though.

Redline in 4th gear? Man how fast is that? I always copy all posts here and to NASIOC (to AOL over the Internet too) because that has happened to me too often.

Well, why don't we make this the official "why my car is ****ed" thread? It'll help alleviate some of that pent up aggression. Then we can all go to the shooting range and REALLY let those targets know how we feel.

After jumping my car (somewhat accidentally) 2 months after I bought it, I had a broken radiator, trashed subframe, trashed radiator supports, trashed front bumper, bent A/C condenser, two bent rear wheels, two bent rear struts, and a hood that always looks like it's open. I have since fixed the radiator and rear struts, but everything else is still there and is waiting for a $1500 trip to the body shop that isn't going to happen anytime soon. (Yes, I know you think I should get insurance to cover it, but when it's not your insurance, it's not yours to abuse.)

Then, in January I was at a friends cabin in Bear Valley where the beginning of the driveway is very steep. We had parked up top and were heading down in the morning when the driveway was very slippery. Of course I get to the last section, and even though I was barely moving when I started, I end up sliding down and hitting the rear bumper of an SUV parked at the bottom. I knew I was going to hit it for about 10 seconds prior to the fact, and there was NOTHING I could do. I hit it going about 3 MPH with my left headlight at which point my car went down and the SUV went up. My left headlight is not pushed back and my nice expensive aluminum hood is now trashed. There's another $600 repair that won't happen any time soon.

Since I'm trying to pay off debt ASAP right now, I don't have much to spend on misc expenses such as tires, brakes, clutch, etc. I have stupidly allowed myself to borrow 2 wheels and tires from a fellow i-clubber (thanks Jason, you rule) until I can afford new shoes.

Meanwhile my $150,000 Economics degree has earned me a prestigious job at a shoe store.

And yet, in the big scheme of things, I really don't have much to complain about. I have an awesome family that will always be there for me, and there's nowhere for me to go but UP!! Just got to remember to keep the chin up and keep plugging away. :/

Well I just got a PM from autoinnovations saying they have some slipstreams in stock, so thats great!

BUT, I just made my order for tires today! Im gonna have to go in and cancel it and change it or something ASAP...

And whats worse is I was working on the car again today (rotated the wheels, fiddled with my adjustable suspension which was fun, and fixed my rear trailing arm alignment bolt finally) only to discover THIS:

Oh and I didn't even mention my 5+ door dings, my full on door dent (inflicted by some one else), and the 15 inch scrape on my rear bumper left by some A-hole.

EDIT: Oh, and the numnuts at Crutchfield told me to get 150 Hz Bassblockers (which don't effectively cut bass until past 50 Hz) so now I have to uninstall those, send them back, wait for the new ones, then install those, then hope they work, all while listening to music that sounds like total ***. I can keep going if you want.
