I need a huge favor.
Tomorrow is moving day, but unfortunately the Suby doesn't quite fit all of my belongings. I had a friend with a truck lined up to help me out, and I had a backup who said he'd help if no one else could, and they both fell through at the last minute. I don't have much to move, most of it fits in my car, but some of my furniture is just too big to squeeze into my back seat. If any of you have a truck and are free tomorrow afternoon sometime after 12:00pm, I'd really appreciate some help. I'll cover your gas, bridge tolls, and dinner. It should only take one trip from Pacifica to Hayward...it's about a 40-45 minute drive. Pleeeeease help me! :(

I would be down to help but I'm working tomorrow. Sorry!!!
|
Sh!t I was in Hayward yester day I could have helped then. Once more, Sorry
|
That's alright, thanks for the thought. I could probably postpone until Wednesday if that would work better for anyone. Not that I'd have much of a choice if I don't have a way of moving things. -sigh-

Morning bump. I won't be around the computer much today, so if anyone can help, please call me. (415)407-4008.

AFAIK you have to be 25 to rent cars, so I bet it's the same for Uhaul. Anyway, update: my friend is loaning me his truck tomorrow and I've already moved most of what fits in my car. I'm moving the rest of the small stuff tonight and hopefully I'll find someone to help me with the furniture tomorrow. To everyone who sat on their asses doing nothing today, you suck. Thanks for nothing, I-Club. |
Nope. My friend just moved and she's 22 and rented a u-haul. Anyways, good luck. :p
|
Oh well, I've got the truck thing under control. Thanks for the idea though.

[/QUOTE] Nope. I rented U-hauls and Ryders all the time back in college. I'm still not 25. I asked the guy once (I think it was at Ryder, but I'm not sure), and he said it was company policy that they allowed down to 18 with bigger deposits the younger you are. Didn't really matter about the deposit, though, since I always returned the truck on time. |
if i saw this sooner i would have helped but if you still need help lemme know cause i got a truck
