I took off my hks bov coz it has never sounded right in the first place.
My friend has a hks, but his is more high pitch.
and I thought this was due to the the insert on the top.

So, after i took the bov off on sunday, I took the shield off, and saw that the purple pointed metal was all black, and i used paper towel to wipe it clean.
next thing i know is that, the black circular plastic arond it was all slanted and stuff.
I took off the cover, and found that one of the leg of the plastic is broken off.
meaning.... it's a freakin' broken bov and i can't sell it to get some money back.
I have put the plastic back on, and it's not slanted anymore, but i am afraid that it will become slanted once it's being used.

my question is: would i be able to find a replacement part of that plastic (shown in picture 4 below), so that i can sell it and get some money back.

by the way, my friend bought it for me off nasioc like a year ago.
so i can't trace back who sold it to me anymore.

try contacting hks. these parts companies rely on happy customers for their business. wouldnt be surprised it they gave you a new plastic piece for free. worth a shot calling them.

 

if not just drill it out a bit a epoxy a small steel pin the right size in there
