House help

I've talked with a few of you guys over the last few months that have said you might be willing to help me out at my pad. So here's the deal...

Friday I'll be down at the new house cleaning out the garage. I'll then degrease and scrub the hell out of it. Sat morning I'll be out there to acid etch it and tape it off.

Sunday morning I'll be out there to epoxy coat it. I could use help with the epoxy part if anyone has ever done this sort of thing. i have not. I really don't want to screw it up. So if you have any friggin idea how to do it and are down to come out let me know. I'm sure I'll have enough beer on hand to keep us all happy.

If you feel like being out there friday or sat that's fine too. I could use a hand any day. I've got a few heavy things I gotta move out of there.

After that I'll be moving so if any of you guys has a truck and might be down to let me borrow it or come help move things for a few hours the weekend of April 6th let me know.

I do the best I can to be there for other folks and I don't ask for help all that often. But I don't have a truck so moving sucks. And I don't know WTF I'm doing with this garage thing and I hate to slap it on there and have it come off in a few months.

I can't make it this weekend but pencil me in for the 6th. If you have space I can ask the boss to borrow a 24' truck. It is 13'6" tall. I just need some cash for diesel.

OneManArmy 03-20-2013 09:49 PM

I'll talk to my boss (wife) and let you know. Thanks man!

queeg9k 03-20-2013 09:53 PM

****. Just checked my Calender and the 6th is no good. Giant camping trip with 20 cousins

OneManArmy 03-20-2013 09:56 PM

ooh camping ftw!

queeg9k 03-20-2013 09:56 PM

March 30th 31st or April 20th?

OneManArmy 03-20-2013 09:58 PM

I'll have to check with the holder of the calendar. 20th no go though. Have to be out before 15th.

It's in Corralitos.

Probably 25 minutes from my place currently. Takes about 15 minutes to get to 41st now instead of 45. Either way, you'll have to come by some time. Once I get it all set up we're gonna have a couple parties.

I can probably help the 6th. I'm out of town this weekend. I have a pickup too...

Dang, boonies lol. I have a big truck, but unfortunately I am busy with family on the 6th (brother's wife is preggers with twins, baby shower/family gathering is that day).

My chick's brother did his garage and he said just follow the directions and it worked out great. Griots has this stuff that is for cleaning the concrete before applying that stuff, so if the degreaser you have is like that, I don't think it will be an issue. Mann might actually have it in stock too.

Definitely can't help Friday, but Sunday is a possibility, especially since I will be doing this to my garage as well.

That ain't the boonies man. I live like 3 miles from a safeway and a starbucks. LOL!

Where I'm at now.... that's the boonies. Dirt roads. No neighbors. Etc. That's why we're getting the heck out of there.

04GG 03-21-2013 10:42 AM

I have a dirt driveway LOL, but our roads are mostly paved :D Still only ~6 mi from Starbucks though

No neighbors is a good thing.......most of the time :)
