Help Please, Headlight Problem

The ghetto Headlights my GF bought me dont work anymore. So I need to put the stock ones in, the only problem is the orange reflector came off and I need to open it but my girl does not have a hair dryer and I dont own a heat gun. I have heard of putting the lights in the oven has anybody ever done this? If so how long and what temp? Please help, cause at this point I cant drive at night....

Can you put in yellow bulbs for the turn signals and get the same effect?

I guess you could, but my orange reflector is floating around the headlight housing, so I either need to remove it or put it back...

I've read people used their oven, by warming it up to like 200°F and letting it sit in there for a while. double check the temp though I'm not positive about it. When we did a friends we used my little ceramic space heater and pointed it at the lens.

Let me make a phone call and get you a replacement part from another Suby owner that changed the OEM headlights. I'll see if he wants to sell or swap.

Oven stuff is tacky and voids warranty...:(

do it right and remind me later if I dont reply...
