HELP! Gas leak

1 Attachment(s)
I just started my car and smelled raw gasoline.... backed out the garage and there is a puddle of gas on the floor and looked under the car and can see gas leaking. What the hell??? Drove a bunch yesterday and no issues...

I popped the hood and found a small puddle in between the turbo inlet hose and throttle body

Do you know where the leak is or no?

get a lighter so you can see where it is coming from

j/k bro is the puddle near the front or back of the car?

I had a car ketch on fire, you may not want to drive it.
sorry to hear your troubles

Puddle is underneath the engine bay.

I grabbed a flashlight (not a lighter) and found a puddle near the turbo inlet hose. I'll go take a pic. This sucks, really needed to drive today

That location probably means it could be the fuel rails underneath the intake manifold sprung a leak or one of the connections to an injector is bad? idk, wait for a pro to answer. lol

Those fuel rails are a beotch!

Go buy a fire extinguisher!

seriously, everyone should have one handy in their car, even if you don't think you have a fuel leak, but especially if you do!

Same problem on my 04 sti yesterday. Tried to have it towed to a shop today, but tow truck will not tow cars with fuel leak!

Those are the lines that usually leaks. Right next to the turbo inlet.
Repaired 2 so far.

Thought I had updated this thread but never did. Yep, had to remove the intake manifold. Fuel line was corroded and cracked. Lots of fun ;)

theirs actually a recall for fuel lines that run under the intake manifold just go to a subaru dealer and tell em you have a fuel smell in the engine bay and tell them you saw that theirs a service bulletin for that

theirs actually a recall for fuel lines that run under the intake manifold just go to a subaru dealer and tell em you have a fuel smell in the engine bay and tell them you saw that theirs a service bulletin for fuel smell on engine bay this service bulletin was made because 2002-03 wrx had fuel leaks on a rubber hose right on top of cylinder 1
