You're better off buying it new from Subaru or buying an aftermarket ALF. From my experience the bushings are usually destroyed after being pressed out. Mine were at least.
Plus if you're going to do the work to fix it might as well do it right and add a Whiteline kit. You'll love it.

Brendan the ALKs are different on the GD/GC chassis. It's not in the arm.

Gruoup N might be an option if you're thinking OEM, but I'd just go with the Whiteline. I did it on my WRX and I probably do still have the old parts, but I think one of mine was worn out. Let me check the garage because I am pretty sure I still have them.
The whole point of ALK is that it is not stock Heedz

I like the Whiteline because it maintains correct alignment because the hole in the bushing is actually at an angle to account for the change in position. Not sure if the offset one is like that as well.
I don't like the fact that I can't do it on the FXT because the setup is different.

i didnt think ALK was OE. but wasnt sure. i know there are two different ALK's that will make or break what class you are in if you Auto X. i just head this ear shot, IDK so dont quote me 100% i personally am going to buy the offset bushing ALK. both are doing the same by dropping the control arm adding more caster, but IIRC one or the other bumps class?
The stock one is simply the front lower control arm's rear mount. The ALK and other products lower the rear of this mount slightly. Most cars have this sort of geometry worked into the front suspension. If you have ever seen a Corvette with a front wheel off, you will see that both control arms are much lower at the rear points.
I have the stock pieces off my '02 w/ 64k miles, and a brand new set off a set of STi aluminum arms that should show up tomorrow. Shouldn't need either set after next week.
