Don't... you'll wish you didn't. The stuff is friggin nasty. It's like syrup. Tastes o.k. on ice cream but I'd rather splash Kalua on my ice cream if I'm getting fancy. It doesn't taste good mixed in anything.
It's literally only good for hot toddies or maybe to make some kind of desert. It's way too sweet and tastes like isht. Want to talk blasphemy... comparing honey to gentleman... WTF? I am a huge fan. I actually have ... Old. No. 7 Gentleman Single Barrel 160th bday green label all in my house right now.
Guess you don't like it...I feel the same about peppermint schnapps :puke: |

With blood orange and peach liquor. It's called a tarantula @ British Pub Hub in Japan
even in Poland this 96% of alcohol vodka is considered as a "hard liquor" (40% is more like a soda). Shiet is strong....how do I know that? I'm Polish. |
some light stuff from ol' Poland

Since any of the PVW Family Reserve series releases only once or twice yearly, my advice is to make friends with your local liquor store owner. Or, you can join an American whiskey club at a local store that gives you first right of refusal when they get their 2-3 bottles/year. Since Traverso's closed in November, taking their whiskey clubs with them, I've joined two others in SF where I live. Not sure if I'll be timely enough to get in on the December shipment, but I am collecting some really good whiskey in the meantime. |
I drank a bit too much this weekend... lets just say that my head didn't hit the pillow until nearly 6am sunday morning. Woot!
I am too damned old for that isht! |
Great timing for this thread. I'm selling off some of my vintage and rare whiskies to pay for a new exhaust system.

Thanks for the info. I made friends with a Bev-Mo store manager in the east bay and he informed me they receive it once a year in the winter and that the majority of the early spring release go to smaller locations and restaurants. Hopefully I'll be able to get a few bottles this winter :) and i was also bummed when Traverso's close, what a shame.... |
