Ok, so there is one cop in Fairfield to look out for. He is CHP and has it out for Subies. I am registered out of state and my exhaust looks completely stock. He pulled me over for a law that I am not required to follow due to my residency ( modified exhaust ). He also was upset when he couldn't locate "illegal mods". He let me go because he had nothing on me. Then, I see the same cop pull over a black STi while a riced out obnoxiously loud honda flew past him. This is harassment. I hate this state.

 

cops are always like that
it's worse for us honda ppl regardless how how legal or even if its completely stock...

what you can do is file a report on that cop or talk to his sgt

rsx forum a person talked to the sgt or officer D Romero and cop got in trouble w/ his sgt LO!L

That sucks Tanz. I never got hassled with my RS/WRX and it was 100% illegal lol. I guess it was cause my car was old and looked all stock or something I dunno

my guess would be the sudden influx of young kids who they they are hot **** and do burnounts and sound off their blow off valves.

 

I don't know why he was going after the people who were not speeding and driving wrecklessly. It was happening all around him and he chose to profile one type of car. Honestly, could he have done anything for me being technically from out of state?

 

There are so many jack *** subaru drivers in Fairfield now. This retard in a black bugeye showed up at barnes and noble friday night because they saw like 6 of our cars because we stopped by for 20 minutes then went on a drive...

came in hella loud and driving stupid. had like 3 dudes in the car. i was like gtf out of here!@

 

Yeah the CHP that pulled me over checked under my hood, got down on all fours and smelled my exhaust, made me revv and everything. But then he said my exhaust was fine.
Then I get pulled over a month later for my exhaust from a Suisun officer who loves to harrass Subarus. He said my car was the loudest one on 12 at the moment.... guess he didnt hear the extremly overly loud harley that had went speeding past me

 

he must drive a mustang or some craptastic none-corvette domestic POS.

 

Gettin' harrassed is random, some people have had mods on their car since day 1 and haven't gotten pulled. Others get pulled after lookin' completely normal. it's gay =P

 

tanzley, from what i understand, it is legal to pull a car over for having out of state plates to check for residency within 30 days. i know you specifically dont have to claim residency because your military, but know that they CAN pull you over at any time.

Im not saying its right, but they CAN.
