Guage and console lights don't work, help?

Hey all,

I was changing out the interior lights in my car.

I wired up a lightup STi shifter and changed the stereo, HVAC, cruise/fog and guage lights to blue/red and when I turned the car on, they didn't light up. The stereo works, however (just doesn't light up, and the clock and ODO light up.

I'm thinking I might have blown a fuse since during the last half of the installation I forgot to disconnect ground. Anyone have any idea the problem, and if it is a fuse, which one?

Thanks,
Ambert

sounds like you blew a fuse. go check the fuse box, it should tell you what fuse is what somewhere there.

Hey, I found fuses labled "lighting" and "clock" but they didn't seem to be broken.

Anyone Here actually destroyed their guage lighting here before and can give me input?

There's also a diagram in the Owner's Manual on page 12-6, with an accompanying list of the corresponding fuse values.

nope don't have a camera...but the center console is all red (turned out good) with a lit STi shift **** that I colored blue (turned out good)

but basically the whole guage is just part aqua/part green f'd up looking...

I painted the clock red but it just looks f'd up too.

On top of that I broke my speedometer.

Goddamnit.
