Thumbs up Greatest Anti-theft system ever finally here in the US

Stumbled upon this web site the other day http://www.opentch.com
They sell the greatest anti-theft system ever the finger print start.
I think this is better than any alarm/security system out there, the system makes any vehicle impossible to steal using your fingerprint. Another good thing is than it makes a good excuse for you not let unwanted friends to drive your car because they can't start it.
it works a lot like the push button start but instead of a button you use your fingerprint to start the car. The web site has a video showing how the system works not to mention the car they use in the video is an STi.
Great features are the kit comes with all black wire harness with little numbered tabs on them that are removed during install that way no thief can memorize the color of the harness and try to hot wire your car.
The system does not interfere with stock or aftermarket alarm systems..

easily overcome with a mold of the fingerprint (if the thief is willing to go through that much trouble).

I would venture to say that it's a lot easier to get a mold of a key than it is to get a mold of the fingerprint of the owner of a vehicle you want to steal.

My dad worked for Wells Fargo in payment systems tech back in the late 80's. They were working on ATM's and were testing finger print scanning in Asia. What they found was that instead of people just getting mugged, they were getting mugged and were getting their fingers cut off.

They stopped development of that and the retinal scanning ATM...

I would rather someone steal my car than steal my car and cut my finger off.
