Would be a great drive and temps are probably starting to cool down. If there is any change of rain, don't hike the Narrows in Zion, 4 people died in a flash flood.

About 3 weeks ago, I drove from Colorado Springs, to Moab (Highway 70). Stayed the night there and then drove to Riverside.

We made it in just under 10 hours. Stopped twice, once for gas and another in Vegas for lunch.

Nope!

A lot of the roads outside of CA have 75 and 80 MPH freeways. So of course I was doing 5-10 over that
