Today was bitter sweet as I said goodbye to my 03 WRX and hello to an 08 RX-8

I had a good 3 year run in the bugeye, but it was time for some rear wheel drive goodness. WTF you say? Why not a Z or an S2K or a million other used FR platforms? Well, I gave it a lot of thought and decided I wanted to go with a new car. The price of the RX-8 drew me in and the drive sealed the deal. I pick up my new Crystal White Pearl RX-8 sport model tomorrow. Pics to come shortly. No mods planned for now, but you never know.

... I'm still gonna be on this forum and go to meets here every now and then because you just can't beet the Suby community.

my 04 is up to nearly 68,000 miles & NO PROBLEMS!!! other than fairly painful gas mileage!

 

seems like quite a few people are getting RX-8's these days.

i almost bought one but I couldnt digest the horrid gas millage, so I got a mazda 3, but I kept the subie too

I really like rx-8's and you deffinately got the right color too. Either black or white.

 

i just wish they came with a turbo like rx-7s
