I grew up drinking with my dad so I quickly learned to respect alcohol....but that didn't stop me from getting wasted sometimes with friends....maybe it's peer pressure

I hear ya on that, getting buzzed a little is fine, but getting tanked so badly that you end up like these people, well, it's just not fun in any aspect!
