i just bought a e/f gauge for my spec c tank... i also bought a new steering column too for about $20 when i go back to stock! I plan on getting a boost gauge in the same style too. Like Kdaddy said: it's in PSI not bars so you don't need to do the math.
I currently have a APEXi boost gauge that matches the trim but i don't like the fact it's 60mm.
KurleeDaddeeWRX: what color are the gauge lights in the autometer's? seeing how the wrx comes with all green lights im hoping the autometer is green too.

Funny thing about autometer gauges. An old buddy of mine used to live on Okinawa and race out there back in the day. All the Japanese kids on the island wanted for gauges were autometer. Even though the Japanese brands were cheaper for them, the hot ticket was autometer because they were made here in the states.
Go figure.
We have installed a few autometer gauges lately, and I actually really like the higher end gauges now, they have some real nice features and are good quality

I just don't see why you guys are so against Autometer gauges. Yes they are much cheaper than the Japanese gauges, but they do the same thing the more expensive gauges do. And they read in PSI and Farenheit. I will keep the extra money I save on these gauges and buy more mods.

i want a greddy or defi gauge. but i dont need to more than a total of 2 gauges. but i was thinking 60 mm gauges on the a-pillar would be a tad bit too big.

Gagan, I have heard some stories about Autometer gagues wearing out too. But ALL gauges after time will need to be re-calibrated again in order to get accurate readings. I work in the Medical Device industry, and use high-dollar pressure gauges everyday. Even these need to be re-calibrated and or replaced periodically. After time, the diaphram inside the gauge wears out, and it will eventually happen to ALL gauges, not just Autometer.

When you get that done try posting a pic of how the green looks... and how you did it.

"Yeah, and have to look clear across the car to find your boost gauge. Oh yea, I forgot Gagan, you don't have one.

Couldn't disagree with you more. Not only can I see all 3 gauges very clearly, but it’s even easier to adjust to looking at them than having to adjust to looking at the tach or speed odometer (when driving spiritedly). I went with Omori gauges because they match the stock gauges perfectly and had the very useful warning and hold feature.
One last thing if you’re still thinking about putting the gauge in the spot of the first picture, not only is the steering wheel covering a big part of it, your left hand would be covering the rest of it.
