black cars after a fresh "detail" are worth the effort once your done with it. i miss my black mustang at times b/c of that.............somehow a clean car freshly washed and detailed look unbelievable during dusk......

 

You should have waited cuz the rain is coming. Looks good though.

 

I had to leave for work 2 hours early to get the dusk shots. Damn day light savings. I tried to get a hood shot in the sun but it didn't look like you were looking into the paint. There is a perfect reflection.

So what products do you use?

 

Regular soap and water wash, clay bar,1Z paint polish, 1Z metalic polish, 3 coats Meguires NXT. All machine applied.

I gotta garage. I have to drive it though. This method lays on so hard... It will last some time. I doesn't take much to get the shine back.
