Fog light mod

I'm not sure on where I could post this question but anyways... In this youtube video, I don't under where is the red wire coming from? Like it is from a turn signal or parking light? Any info can help. I want to do this on my 2013 impress sport limited wagon

IIRC, it is wired like that so they can only be used with the headlights because it is a legal requirement in most places.

It says in the video that it is from the parking lights.

Yep, but... it ain't too hard to work around. I have the FXT set so when I turn on the 'running lights' it shuts off all lights, but powers up the fog lights so I can turn them on/off from the switch. Nice for going blackout at night
