Anything specific you want to know? Bunch of us have been tuned already by local tuners. Few even went the e50-85 route.

Where did folks start? I just put on a Perrin Catback and notice these motors are quiet. I started the car when the stock mufflers were off and the Perrin was not installed yet and it barely it made any noise. Don't get me wrong I am all about fuction, WHP and WTQ, over sound and looks, but I was surprised by how quiet it was. What have people notice gets the "best bang for your buck" for performance. I am daily driving/commuting, although I take the twisties every day. Traffic BLOWS!

So far from what I've gathered (I have every performance bolt on you can buy for the FA20) the best bang for buck mods based off of many logs and dyno sheets, a Grimmspeed electronic boost controller and a pro-tune or e-tune. The car really lacks power up top in stock form. It's really detuned off the show room floor so it doesn't compete with the STi's engine power.

I am an early adopter with a 13 BRZ and I'm very pleased with the car and the FA20

I’ve added more power through the usual volumetric efficiency schemes while keeping it NA

AFE Takeda intake, Nameless 4 2 1 header + Miltek exhaust, and Ecutek tune

As the revs rise, the engine pulls hard to the red line - it's very nice

I've also done suspension, brake, and driveline mods.

What I enjoy the most is the light weight, balance, and driving feel while cornering.

Why is the WRX so quiet? While changing my exhaust I started the car with the mufflers off and it was barley louder. I now am set up with my Perrin Catback and it has a very nice tone but it is still really quiet.

Different exhaust will produce different levels of noise. Not to mention it sounds like you have the stock downpipe still on, so that's also restrictive in terms of flow and the noise it produces.

I figured the J pipe would also make a big difference, but in comparison to my 2005 doing a catback system made a huge difference is sound. The 2015 is a very quiet car.

Jpipe makes the car sound a lot louder. We recorded my exhaust set up on the dyno. Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS) TBE at 119.5db lol.
