What do you guys think would be a safe number of miles to dyno? My WRX just ticked over 900 and I'll be hitting 1k and doing an oil change this weekend with motul 8100 eco-energy 5w30.

By the 15th I'll probably be at 1500 or 2000 depending on how many "trips" I decide to take. Too early?

Should be fine
My 07 sti had 500 miles and then indid an oil change and brought itntonget protuned from gst eons ago
Way better than the crappy lean tune sunbaru had on those my07s back in the day

Sounds like it would be fun...I would want to dyno my Forester XT and my husbands' 510. What kind of dyno are you using? Mustang? Dynojet?

Put me on the list!

We use a Dynocom dyno which is similar to a Dynojet. I also have calibrations to make it read like a Mustang dyno for those who prefer those numbers.

Thanks

I saw a post from the 350Z forums that compared Dynocom, Mustang, and Dynojet. Dynocom read 340 WHP while Mustang was 306 WHP and Dynojet was 311 WHP. What correction factor are you using to convert Dynocom to Mustang?

We use a .85 CF to bring it down to real mustang numbers. The mustang in your comparison sounds like its a bit higher reading.

Ed,

Still in the air if I can make it, but its in my plans. After seeing what the FXT does on a mustang dyno I would like to see what she does on yours, then I have a good baseline.
