ebay catback exhaust

I've had one for a short period and it seemed to work fine, no leaks. I was interested in getting a cobb replica. Has anyone had any experience with this one?

It says the brand is M2, but I've seen a few different sellers use the same exact picture. I wanna know if anyone has purchased this one before.

The Cobb replica is okay, it just sits REALLY close to your bumper. I'd run some longer hangers or it will def melt it. Other than that I didn't notice any flaws on the catback the welds even looked fine.

iirc M2 was a shop that made parts for multiple platforms, including subarus. I think they were good parts, but they stopped making subaru and I believe went out of business a long time ago.

M2 used to be in Concord and AFAIK they did go out of business. It seems like someone either bought the name or "borrowed" the name and opened up shop in La Puente.

I've had that exact exhaust for almost 2 years now and it does fit close to the bumper. I have a mixture of stock and long exhaust hangers to make it fit.
I will be replacing it shortly as it has started to rust and the welds are splitting at the lower back edge of the muffler but for 100 bucks shipped I got my money's worth.

I installed my "M2" eBay exhaust today. It was purchased from the eBay Seller "AutoGrimmig" - located in Southern California. I ordered it on Thursday night and received it Monday morning...pretty fast shipping.

Since I am still running my stock downpipe, i decided to use the stock bolts. Unfortunately, one of the bolts was pretty worn so I replaced it with a similar size bolt. Fitment and quality looks very good for the price.

Sounds really nice, not as loud as I expected but from what I hear it gets louder in time. It definitely gives the car quicker, smoother acceleration. So far i'm happy with it. Only drawback is that I'll need to buy some XL exhaust hangers. As you see below, the muffler tip is touching my bumper! But overall, a great cbe for the price. Is it better than a Cobb? Probably not, but it sure was cheaper.
