^ It doesn't get that cold. Also, the gas would freeze long before the alcohol would freeze.

this is the closest spot for me too...looks like it went down from $1.99 the other day!

loving my flex fuel'd 2015... had 55% ethanol in my first tank...up to 65% now... will drive a little more and try 75% out

i was filling up the other day and a modified blue sti pulled up behind me to fill up also. anyone here?

Are you just mixing 91 with E85? No tune? The WRX isn't actually a FlexFuel car.... even the 2015.

If you are tuned why not just run straight E85?

Yes, I'm mixing 91 with E85...I've had 55%, 65%, and now it's at 70% mixtures since my last filling. The ecu hijacks the accel % gauge if I hold the cancel button down when the car is stopped to give me the read out from the ethanol content sensor.

I'm running Visconti Flex Fuel kit stage 1. I can run a full tank of 91 pump gas to a full tank of e85, it will automatically adjust the map in real time to whatever mixture I have. I'm gonna get a J-pipe and then probably just keep it there as I'll be satisfied with the power. I will run full ethanol eventually I'm sure, I just got the kit so I am testing everything out.

I use Lucas Oil Ethanol fuel conditioner each fill up, 3oz to the tank to help keep the HPFP happy. The kit is super easy to install, I did it myself in my garage in about an hour. If I had to do it again it would be half that time. I'm really happy so far with the tune (especially throttle response/feel) and the extra ooomph the ethanol gives me.

That was the piece I was looking for. Makes sense now. Only problem is you are now stuck with tuning from Visconti which isn't really that good.

What's not good about it? I'm pretty much stock, will just have a Jpipe so it's a pretty basic tune.

He is a notoriously bad/average tuner in the community. Lots of issues if you read up on him. Also really not a nice guy in anyway.

There are also very few shops in the area that can or will even touch EcuTek so you are limited there. From here on out you have very few options for how to move forward with the car. You either have Visconti tune it or switch to a different platform.
