Does anyone know the surface temp of the heatshield?

Yeah, I'm wondering b/c as some of you might know I'm experimenting with CF, and I'm thinking of trying a heatshild but the epoxy I use to impregnate the CF breaks down @ 250 degrees centigrade. Anyone ever put a probe there?

Thanks,
Ambert

yeah I figured...ack. Actually they do sell high temp epoxy that you have to cure in a firing oven or something b/c aparently Top Fuel Dragsters make their intake manifolds out of CF
