darn EVO all of a sudden sounded like HUGO

next to the STI...

this is such a surpise to me.

that i have redefined what my garage will look like this coming year.

i always figured that i'd get the EVO when it comes out and sell one of the WRXs (prolly the sedan)... but now it looks like an STI is something that i am really considering.

what to do?

I don't think there is as big a turn around in opinion as people are perceiving. A lot of people were already disappointed when they saw the EVO and heard about the few missing features. Then the STi comes out and with a feature list like that of course its going to rattle the cage of the people that started doubting the EVO when they first saw/heard about it.

I think a lot of Subies fans (myself included) are just shocked because when the EVO was announced we just assumed we get a 270 hp STi missing all the cool gadgets. Now we find out it has EVERYTHING + 300hp!?!? Of course it's going to make the look EVO bad. Subies guys were getting ready to compromise and instead they announce one of the baddest street subies ever.
