Dakine 50% off promo codes
Hey guys, I got an email from the Dakine prostore last week where they were giving away 3 promo codes for 50% off the shopping cart total on orders of $1000 or less.
Since my prostore acct is still active I can't use / don't need to use these codes for myself. I've tried sending them to my friends already an no one has used them. edit: was told you need to create an account first and be logged in when you try using these codes, also looks like they don't apply for sale items. SEE POST #18 Here's the site: Dakine Enjoy! |
Just tried all 3 and none of them work.

wtf.. ok what was the messge it displayed when you tried?
|
I just talked to Dakine, they said you need to create an account in order for the codes to work. Guest checkout will make them invalid.
Give it a try with an acct created & lmk! |
Same for all three even after setting up an account: "The promotion code you entered is not valid or has expired. Please try the code again or call +1 800 827 7466 for help."
|
OK, it worked on full retail items and not the sale items.

^Thanks for checking, makes sense though that you wouldn't get any % off for sale stuff though. You'd need a prostore acct for that.
Which code did you use so I can mark it off? |

Was thinking of picking this up as I need a decent laptop backpack and for $74.50 with the discount might not be a bad deal. Dakine Network II 31L Backpack | Dakine

Wow that looks like a nice bag. I used to travel w/ 2x laptops and was almost always a pain but that actually has two laptop slots. Super cheap too, even before the discount it's less than half the last bag I picked up. |
damn I missed out, Thank you for posting though!

Little late to the party, but what will you be using it for? From my individual experience, I have found this type of bag better suited for local urban commuting rather than any sort of long distance and/or airline travels. |

Mainly using to go back and forth from work and home with some light travel...just tired of my shoulder bag as my laptop is a behemoth (Dell Precision M4800 and weighs about 6lbs). I was looking at just picking up the Amazon Basic backpack for $30 but figured for a little bit more why not get something that will last. |
