Hi folks! Anyone know DabiDa personally? I have his cell# but he has not responded to my text message or PM's.

I'm trying to get a hold of him because we agreed on a wheel trade back in April 13. He has the offset that I want, I have the color that he wants.
He was supposed to fix the curb rash on his wheels, have it powdercoated flat black, then trade with mine. However, he's not good with updates, and I have not heard from him since his last text on May 9.

I want to post my wheels back on sale, but I want to try to get a hold of DabiDa first. It would really suck for him if he's already paid to have his wheels powdercoated, then I turn around and shut down the trade we agreed on 2 months ago.

Anywho, that's about it - just trying to see if anyone here knows him in person.

I did just sent him a text message, informing him that I will put the wheels back up on sale.

if he was getting them powder coated why not get the color he wants?

Not that it would help much but i sold him a front emblem a few months back.
Seemed like a chill dude.
I'd give him another day or two then post them back up for sale.

 

Sigma - not really sure now that I think about it. Im guessing the absolute green color is not available at his powder coating hookup...

Snoopy - haven't heard from him in over a month, so I'm not really sure if a day or two will make a difference lol!

If he has to back out of our trade due to finances, I'd completely understand. But not bothering to communicate is something that rubs me the wrong way :/

 

^ yeah i feel that considering he posted a week ago or so. Maybe he was just oh ill trade but didnt actually want to step up and get the work done on his wheels then trade. either way I'd be irritated as well.

 

He lives right by me actually, sometimes I see him around but not lately. I think the last time I saw his car it had some rota grids on them? Flat black perhaps? Im not certain since he flew by and I barely noticed him.

Message saying can't do the trade anymore = *might* **** off the other party.
No communication = guaranteed to **** off the other party.

That's why I'm trying to see if I can get a hold of him. There *might* be a reason he hasn't communicated. It's been over a month now, though.....so I'd be surprised if I hear from him.

 

Yeah, good point. Since its been over a month since Ive seen him around myself. Try giving him a call instead of texting, voicemail to seal the deal or something.

Agreed! I don't think anyone would be pissed if he has to back out of a trade due to a legitimate reason.....as long as he takes a minute of his time to send a message.....

 

yeah seems simple enough, be a man and say "hey I dont think this trade is going to happen, sorry" OK cool time to move on
