creature comforts
What have you fellow GD owners done to make your wrx/sti more "luxurious"/ have more creature comforts?
I'm trying to think of all the things I can do to my bugeye since it's a DD.
Things that come to mind:
1) armrest extension-store more stuff
2) forester/outback rearview mirror with garage link
3) 98-02 forester center console rear seat cupholder
4) little LED light mod where the stupid middle sun blocker shade goes(kinda like a bmw light on the shifter console, there's a write-up on nasioc)
5) not really cost efficient, but some people have added seat warmers
6) sun visor mirrors with lights in them
Did you guys know on 02+ audi s4(maybe a4 as well), the wheel well liners are coated with a cloth type material like the stuff you find inside your trunk?

Sound deadening material in trunk, door panels, rear deck.
V7 jdm sti seats.
Rear tint
Kartboy shift ****
Got rid of lowering springs and went with 04 sti usdm springs and tophats with kyb struts.
Got rid of 18's and put on 17's with a meaty tire for ride comfort
Got the quietest performance exhaust I could find. Single tip maddad whisper
For aesthetic:
Sti gauges cluster
matching stri egt and boost gauges steering column mounted.
Jdm v7 steering wheel
Jdm v7 center console
Currently working on a noise cancellation concept with my stereo and the microphone system built in.

I'd even recommend 16x7's with 225 tires on them.
I'm amazed at how much more comfortable the 16 is compared to the 17 (and no contest over the 18). Yet with 225's, you still have lots of grip. You just lose the razor turn in, but who cares on a DD.
The problem is, there aren't many 16x7 ET48-55 5x100 wheels out there.

Not a GD owner, but an FXT, which you'd think would have more creature comfort, but..
I'm riding on a pretty decent GD-fitment suspension, and even then the car is a rattle box on these crappy San Francisco streets. Running 225/45/17s, looking to go with at least 50 profile for my next tires. I ran light-weight 18s, but sold them because sticking with 45 profile tire is just too harsh for daily driving around here. Some 16x8s would be badass.

Not a GD owner but from what ive seen the GD interior is alot like what was on my 1st gen xB- to make that more 'liveable' i went with:
-armrest
-tint all around
-meaty tires on 15's vs the 18's i had (lowered ~1.5" so didnt look too bad)
-soft springs
-soft sways for dd, tuned up for road trips in twisties(not a very sporty car, even with a 5spd)
-velvet/suede headliners, pillars, etc - very luxury look
-made-to-fit- seat covers w/suede as opposed to new seats
-short shifter
-adjusted clutch to short throw (so i could heel tow in traffic)
-tunable exhaust for power + silent growl at speed
-sound dampening + much better HU/speakers
-integrated garage door control in a semi-hidden, unmarked spot (however, many people forget the fact that, if someone steals your car, they know you're not at home, and with something as obvious as a garage link - all they need to do is look at your registration to see how much of your trunk they can fill with your stuff... (just a word of caution))
