Good track day rims? They look heavy and weak!

 

I wouldnt pay more than $200 for those honestly. I do not think they are rare but I could be wrong. They do look ugly and heavy.

Rare.. Like a Yugo is rare I guess. These were styled after the last air-cooled Porsche Turbo wheels. Mille Miglia's are good wheels, nicely made, but they are very heavy. I had a set of 17x7 5spokes that I used for road wheels on my old Celica All-trac. Nice, but heavy. Never saw another set. They might make good winter wheels because there are not a lot of spokes for snow to get packed into.

Guy doesnt know anything about the car. Doesn't know how many mileage on engine, what shop did work, what engine from which year car or was it just rebuilt, if radiator/water pump is new, nothing. He just said, "The guy before me did it all."

I wish someone would take a bugeye front end and swap it onto an '06/'07 or an STi...

 

doesnt say salvaged but it was most likely wrecked in the front if he went with a full front end conversion on an otherwise unmodded car.

 

car was fixed at subaru of santa cruz, and its an ej251. only major letdowns are the 4eat and also the side quarter panel damage. the body has quite a few dings and scrapes in it last time I saw it, but it does have the rear wiper which is sick.

 

Then could you guys give me some more info. I really want to pick it up. I sent him an email with a bunch of questions and no response. Maybe I should have asked less questions in the first email lol.
