Is their a carb legal downpipe. no i already know that don't know why i'm asking what about something to conceal it? What is the second time trouble for failed inspection?
please im me if possible thanks guys. oh and can i pass carb certified with stock down pipe and a silencer on my hks carbon ti? i hate stockton!!!

IF you have 2 of your Cats (mid pipe and down pipe) left you should be fine. It also depends where you live. I've seen cars that burn insane amounts of oil and look like they're about to fall apart pass in New York. In Cali though its a different story where its more strict. I love my Borla hush because its stealthy and my gutted up pipe because everybody is clueless.

 

you can go back to stock.then when you pass your inspection you can put the after market back on.thats the easy way out.

what were you doing to get pulled and pop'd? i think the best way to avoid a second offense is to chill out when you're driving....cause, a lot of the time that people have been pulled over and had to go to the ref (that i know) were pulled over cause of driving like morons...not to say you are a moron, but you get the picture

 

that's the thing...noise polution..wtf i was cruising at 25 chill as can be...never even been pulled over for a traffic violation before.

 

Its a pain, but thats what I am going to do. Just spend a day swapping stock pipes back in and flashing (AP) stock map back in. The after smog, Swap After market pipes back in.

The regular bi-annual smog inspection consists of two parts - the visual inspection and the 'sniffer' test. The visual part of the inspection is pass/fail. At a referee station (different than the regular smog check), if a referee recognizes an aftermarket part installed in place of OEM, the vehicle will fail unless that part carries a CARB E.O. (Exemption Order) number from the manufacturer.

noise pollution? Then that means your exhaust is too loud, that's all. But it would be a good idea to swap the stock dp back on.

I'm guessing it's CVC 27151

 

you'd be surprised how loud an aftermarket exhaust really is compared to a stock one... we're just too used to it by now haha.

 

I just passed smog recently with uppipe + 3'' catted tbe. Guess I either got lucky or the guy was too dumb to know what I had.

visual test? no if the guy was doing his job...

sniffer? still got a cat? muffler? probably...

No i'm white/porchagese actually...I just have a nice car that sounds juiced and looks the part as well. I think i might say **** them and garauge it trailer it to the track??? I havfe a vishnu st. 2 i'm not losing those gains **** them..haha I should go by a crawford block and ditch em' next time haha jk but i bet i could in the country..!
