my car got broken into a couple weeks ago & the thieves stole a bag of 30+ Cds i borrowed from the libary, so now I got to replace them.
Anyone know where (either Online or a Store) where I can buy a lot of Brandnew Cds for cheap?

did you check how much the library is charging for the CDs? rasputin is going to charge $7-$11 used each. the library might give you a price break or something, but i dont know. they might screw you over and charge you full retail price.

sucks to hear about the break in man

I'd go talk to the library first, explain the situation and see what they say. Another possibility might be to claim some of the cost on your auto insurance if you have full coverage.

yeah i talked to the libarary and they have to be new. used is not an option. the libarary said "sorry but u are responsible" and something along the lines of "we understand that ur a victim, but the libarary would be a victim too" if i didnt replace the albums, they'd hand be over to a collection agency and F up my credit.
this just really sux.
I even tried to volunteer my time tutoring or reading stories to lil kids, to offset some of the cost but they werent having it.
where can I buy 30+ brand new cds in bulk for a good price?

Some how I just don't think the library is going to accept copyright infringed materials...

Does suck that they want you to replace USED cd's with NEW. Just doesn't seem right. Should at least cut you some kind of a break, unless all 30 cd's had never been used before.

But they are right, you have the responsibility for the materials while you are borrowing them, just sucks that they are adding to your pain.

Check Amazon.com?

honestly, they should only be charging you a depreciated value for the CDs. what exactly were they CDs of? I would get an itemized list from the library along with a replacement cost and submit that to the insurance

Angry

my insurance wont cover any "loose items not physically bolted onto the car"
they given me a list and a good amoutn of time to replace, but I tried to deal with the libarary every which way i could and they wont budge on anything but the exact items and brand new.
