Can a evap code cause low boost?
 

so heres what happened: local tuner shop installed a aem eugo and boost gauge....when running the vacuum line for boost gauge he put it in between the evap diaphragm and intake manifold....it threw a evap CEL and was only getting 6-8psi due to limp mode im assuming so he cleared it with his scanner but still am only seeing 6-8psi on my AP.....heres what ive done so far....disconnected vacuum line and ran diaphragm back to intake manifold....hard reset ecu....re flashed stage 2..... and checked blue t-fitting under diaphragm to make sure all hoses are connected...and now im out of ideas why its seeing low boost....any ideas of what it could be????

yea sorry posted one in wrong forum and wont let me delete others....this one is more specific as i have checked through these forums and done what ive could to try and correct problem and now I'm stuck...

Oh, the hand-me generation? Us old timers ( 9+ years ) cannot get with that generation.

you guys have too much time on your hands.....anyways i figured it out....the tuner replaced a vacuum hose and threw away the restrictor pill...thanks for the "help" lol
