Calling JDM V.7 and V.8 seats owners

Are the adjustments attached to the bases on these seats? Even if they were swapable, the adjustment levers would probably get in the way of the Seatbelt and/or center console... Unless there's some way to modify the levers to attach to the other side of the seat.
I never really thought about this until now, but not having that adjustment on the driver's seat would blow.

I had V8 seats in my STI and I did the base swap for the driver seat (swapped JDM base with US base, retained JDM cushion and fabric). This ultimately allowed me to have the adjustability on both seats.
