does anyone know where i can get my 02 wrx AC repaired in the bay area.

 

Where in the baby area? There are shops all over that can do it.

 

east bay, sf, peninsula, (i live in the east bay)

 

My buddies shop does it. I was eyeballing the machine yesterday because I need to fix mine.

For A.C. you should be able to just do a yelp search. Tons of places.

Or ask Ed. Maybe he has a guy he uses.

 

If I had the adapter for the lines Id do It for you. I got the gauges and Refer In my work van but have never needed that fitting haha

Just search on Yelp for a place you can trust, Or just hit up an auto parts store and get one of those flash kits. I think they are only to top off a system and not fully charge a system that Is completely flat.

 

my AC has a leak somewhere, jiffylube tried recharging it and it didnt hold they said i needed to get it repaired and recharged.

 

i have a body shop that did it for my friend 03 wrx bug eye, and they replaced his condensor for 900 plus the recharge. They are called parkway auto body. They are great there.

 

my condensor was replaced already and worked till about 6 months ago?! not sure why though. still blows air and the heater works well, just not the A/C

 

Alouis Radiator on Divisadero and Grove does great a/c work. They did the evaporator & heater core in my sister's old explorer, which requires the whole dash to be removed. Did the whole job for $650 and the dash went back in with all the factory rattles fixed.

They do alot of new systems in hotrods, subcontracting for other shops, and work for the city too.

 

just gave them a call told me $110 to find out what it is and that goes towards the repair, on my day off ill be going there. THANKS!
