Breaking into a subaru
Well, I used to lock myself out of my outback just about every other day, so instead of calling someone - i would just scour for a stick and pry the window back with my fingers enough to stick the stick down and unlock all the doors. I know this runs the risk of breaking the window - but it suprised me that subarus are so easy to break into. Have any of you guys ever done this?

Thanks for the tip....I am going to go find someones subaru and try your mothod. Hope it works....cause I know you WRX guys usually have some mods that I can sell for some extra cash!!
Thanks Budd :) /sarcasm lol |
umm...how do you think i got my WRX?;)
|
that works on any car that has windows that dont go up inside something.. u can bend the window out really far its kinda scary

New ALARM...

Ha ha, I tried that once in my old 84 GL wagon when I locked the keys in at a show at Shoreline.
I had the thing pulled out about an inch at the top edge when I heard a quick pop and the window shattered, filling the interior with those tiny glass cubes - but at least I could drive home. I think that was the last time I locked my keys in a car |
there was a few times when i swore my window was about to pop - when i taped a bunch of drumsticks together and broke in with that - its amazing the amount of flex those damn windows have.
Thanks to keyless entry i doubt i'll lock my keys in my car for a while. |
yeah once i turned on my car, and then pressed the unlock button to load my luggage into the backseat and i accidentally hit lock while closing the door. I hate how the subarus dont have that function where the door cannot be locked at all if its open.
..but basically it was simple as hell to unlock my doors using a long stick. |
yeah not so safe. It's amazing how easy it is to break into most cars.
I used to work at a gas station. You'd be amazed at how mnay people lock their keys in their car while it's running. I once got into a BMW and grabbed the keys on the seat before the alarm went off. When I get my new alarm on the car I will be getting a motion sensor. |
Dood, where's my keys?

hey, get back to work!
you slacker! |
i have to hold the door handles up when i shut my door for it too luck :-D ghetto style son!
|
Haha that's funny! Breaking into your own car.. but hey! it works and isn't a crime cause it's yours!
I've never done this though and I still can't picture it, but yeah... I'm not surprised it's so easy to break into a Subaru. I should invest myself in a new alarm someday. |
*pop*
