We are not gonna make it for BAM but we would love to hang out! I should be back October 5th. I hear you like snow. I do have access to a family cabin in Rubicon bay at tahoe. None of my family goes up during winter....

Aha! I'm just the opposite from y'all. Walker's probably the same. I go to the sub-forum. With the much lower activity on here than a couple years back, the check-new-posts method is likely the way to go.

And awesome that you & your family got a spot so close to the lake. It'd be awesome to check it out when I'm up in my winter playgrounds. Only thing is that the switchbacks on Hwy89 at Emerald Bay regularly close during significant snowfall. So the way to South Lake and its nearby resorts aren't easily accessible. But luckily, if Homewood or even Alpine or Squaw are in my crosshairs, your family's cabin would be an awesome crashpad.

If my GC is still up for sale, I'll bring it to the meet for test drives and such. Just got a new(er) car so it'll be weird for me to park that with a bunch of Subies.
